  I found this church in the paper ad in the Sun. It was advertising a day camp at the church called FCC, its like a Vacation Bible School, my son is 6 years old, the camp was 8am to 5pm. I paid 100 dollars for a full day.
  
  When my son came for the first day no one was welcoming to him, no teachers came up to him and was nice. The teachers seemed very cold and rude. I thought maybe I was just over thinking things. Until...
  
  I get a phone call two days into the camp from director of the program. She said my son only needs to come half day. I asked if he was bad since I need to punish him, or if he was sad and lonley. She said neither, he 'Just fidgets too much"! What 6 year old doesnt fidget. She said he doesnt fit in with the kids! I was appalled. I find out that they walked the 20 something kids blocks away to an ice cream shop with only four teachers, and they cant handle the kids, no duh, thats far away to be handling all those kids walking the streets far away! They shouldnt be walking that many kids on the streets!
  
  It gets worse. One of the assistant directors admitted to me that they wont be able to handle the kids on Wed. when they all go to someones house in a deep pool! Now there are a lot of children in this camp under the age of 6 and only four teachers. When I asked the director if you are kicking my son out because of the pool on Wed. She said we have a lifeguard but ya she is afraid that he will fidget too much near a pool. What does that even mean!? So I didnt want to force my son to be somewhere a long day when no one wants him there, so I agreed to part day, which is not 100 its 75 dollars, so she needs to refund me 25. She refused! Shes kicking my son out for no reason and refuses to refund me the difference! I told her thats not right she said 'shell look into the person in charge of the money and call me back'. No phone call, I call the church office the secretary was rude and told me 'Dont ask me Im just a secretary I dont know anyone here'.
  
  Be careful taking your child to their VBS camp, they are not very caring and seems to do a poor job at waching over the kids properly. I know what I am talking about I have been a Child Worker for many years at a church, and I have delt with even worse behavior, emotionally fragile, ASD, Bi-polar, and I WOULD NEVER turn a child away!
